Tollek is a hard wolf to read, his face doesn't tell a fraction of his story, but his sister knows how to read him, the slightest movement of his eyebrows and the smallest change in his breathing have a deeper meaning to her than one could imagine. Suii feels responsible for his peace of mind, her  own trauma is fresh in her mind and the feelings it brings her are overwhelming. Just as she struggles to find peace within herself and her world, she believes her brother shares a similar struggle that he is unwilling to admit - much like herself. 

Emotion is what brings a wolf to it's downfall and so she forces her emotions into a tight shell that she simply refuses to open to others. But when she's around her brother she feels like she can be herself - at least a little bit - and when she notices her brother is in stress, she tries to ensure that he knows she's never leaving his side.
